A native New Yorker, John obtained a medical degree from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn in 1995, receiving the Dean's Award for Excellence and service to the medical school community.
John has a large amount of publishing experience in both scientific and financial journals. During his college years he worked for the journal "Outstanding Investor Digest," gaining invaluable experience in the field of professional publishing.
Formerly a resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, John is presently a fellow in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Boston Children's Hospital.
Before arriving on the sunny shores of New York City, Brett received a degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry in his hometown of Perth, Western Australia, where he gained infamy as a cartoonist publishing a variety of bizarre comic strips. He has since earned a Master's degree in Neural and Behavioral Science.
Brett has a tremendous amount of experience in graphic art, web design, and desktop publishing and serves as the resident artist and computer expert.
He is currently the Assistant Director of Educational Computing for SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. In addition he teaches a college-level course in web development.
Damon has been a part-time geek since the age of ten, when he was pounding out BASIC programs on his parents' old typewriter in anticipation of the Atari 1200XL he was getting for Christmas.
It was only natural that he would become involved in web design. He has since designed and published several sites for prominent Boston companies.
Despite insistence from friends that he should "go into computers," Damon developed an overriding interest in the biological sciences, and obtained a BA in Microbiology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
In addition to holding a Masters in Biomedical Science, Damon recently obtained his Ph.D from Harvard University Medical School's Doctorate Program in Immunology.
